Rockport, TX (March 31, 2024) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening, March 30. Calls for help were received by the Rockport Police Department at around 5:20 p.m.
Official reports indicate that a white 2013 Kia was traveling on Broadway Street. As the vehicle proceeded through the 1400 block of the roadway, the driver failed to maintain a single lane. As a result, the vehicle collided with a black 2009 Chevrolet. Three people were injured as a result of the accident. EMS rendered aid to a 26-year-old female, a 28-year-old male, and a three-year-old male. The victims who required further medical care were transported to area hospitals. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
