Bee Co., TX (March 29, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Bee County and ended in injuries. The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene at around 10:05 p.m. on March 26.
According to reports from authorities, the driver of a black 2000 Nissan failed to yield the right-of-way while traveling near US Highway 181 and Texas Highway 358. As a result, the vehicle collided with a maroon 2015 Buick. Reports show that the driver of the Buick may have also failed to yield the right of way. Two people were injured in the accident. EMS transported a 61-year-old female and a 62-year-old female to area hospitals with serious injuries. The accident is under investigation.
