Victoria, TX (March 28, 2024) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a crash that took place on Thursday, March 28. The incident was reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety at around 3:05 p.m.
Crash reports indicate that a 2002 Peterbilt truck tractor-trailer collided with a red 2007 Chrysler while traveling on US Highway 87. The incident caused severe damage to the Chrysler, resulting in multiple airbags deploying. Two people in the vehicle were injured. An 84-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman were both transported to area hospitals. The accident is being investigated.
