Victoria, TX - Four Hurt in Ambulance Crash at Rio Grande & Navarro St

Victoria, TX (March 16, 2024) - Several people were injured after a collision involving an ambulance in the Victoria area on Friday, March 15. The crash was reported at the intersection of E. Rio Grande Street and N. Navarro Street at around 5:15 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

Local sources revealed that a Calhoun County EMS was transporting a patient when it was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Another ambulance was required to transport the patient to their destination. A total of four people were injured in the accident. A fifth person at the scene refused medical treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
