South Padre, TX (March 15, 2024) - There were reported injuries after a car accident in the South Padre area on Wednesday, March 13. The accident took place that evening at around 6:27 p.m. on Queen Isabella Causeway. One man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.
The injured party was taken to Valley Baptist Medical Center in stable condition. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris in order to reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No charges have been filed in relation to the crash at this time.
