Operating a helicopter should only be done by experienced professionals. Unfortunately, even when an experienced pilot is in control, unexpected accidents can still occur. Statistics show that helicopter crashes have a fatality rate of 1.3 deaths per 100,000 flight hours. Even with the appropriate safety measures in place, it can be hard to completely prevent a serious accident from taking place. There were 90 helicopter accidents reported across the country in a recent year. It can be difficult to deal with a deadly crash on your own, and it is key that you are able to pursue justice with the help of a trained attorney.
