Gonzales, TX (March 1, 2024) - On Thursday, February 29, two people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in the Gonzales area. The accident was reported at the 8000 block of US-183 SB. Local sources indicated that a Lincoln four-door was trying to pass another vehicle on the highway when it collided with an oncoming 18-wheeler.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. The driver of the Lincoln was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The operator of the commercial truck was also hurt.
